Ms J Pitt – Tenant

I have dealt with a number of lettings agents since I first moved to the Purbecks, but Kate Anson of Purbeck Lettings, who I have now rented several properties through, is by far the best and in fact, the only person I will go to in the future. Her level of professionalism, expertise, and knowledge of both the properties on her books and her clients’ needs are simply in a different league from the other local agents. After only a few viewings with her I felt assured that every place she took me to see (indeed every property she handles) was a quality property, there was no time-wasting, she asked me the right questions so that she knew what I was looking for and then offered a few different possibilities that each fit the bill with their own individual charms. And with Kate I felt that I was getting a straight story (unlike some dreadful experiences I had with other agencies). She always had the answers to my questions, she presented the pros and cons of each situation, and even offered her own opinion which I genuinely appreciated, so that I felt fully informed about each potential rental.

It was great to feel in good hands that I could trust, which is such a refreshing change, as looking for a new house and moving can be an otherwise stressful, uncertain time. And the customer care in each case continued throughout the process: paperwork all handled quickly and efficiently, everything was followed up, and each circumstance always under control. Beyond the excellent service, it is the personal touches that make Kate such a pleasure to work with – being there at the ‘check-in’ with a cup of tea and biscuits to welcome me to my new home, the well timed emails to check that everything is going well, her quick response to any queries. For me, it is Kate’s attention to detail, her exacting standards, her dedication to finding the right place to suit the client and her caring and professional follow-through make her stand-out so much, a shining example of what a great lettings agent can and should be… other agents should take note”
